I talked to the social worker and our first visit is scheduled for FRIDAY NIGHT! I'm so excited :) Even better, she's coming to our house. We thought we'd have to drive to Kansas City for the visits.
Finally - movement on the adoption front!
Our social worker said we'd do two visits. The first is essentially administrative and gives us a chance to get to know her. The second visit, we'll do our personal interviews and she'll talk to Natalie. She said she usually moves pretty quickly and that our homestudy will probably be finished by the end of September. Eeks! We may need to do another visit after that, if we get our house sold, but we'll play that by ear.
The really nice thing is that the house is already clean because we're trying to sell it *lol*
